About Paxos offline map
Early-stage offline map of the Greek island of Paxos for backpackers and brave visitors. The other islands in the Paxi/Paxoi archipelago such as Antipaxos are also included. Download before you go and avoid costly roaming charges. The map runs completely on your device; display, routing, search, bookmark, everything. It does not use your data connection at all. Switch your phone function off if you wish to.
No ads. All features fully functional on installation, you do not need to buy add-ons or do additional downloads.
IMPORTANT NOTE: OpenStreetMap, http://www.openstreetmap.org, does not yet have full coverage of Paxos, so this map may not be for you. The main island road, villages, put names are there. BUT: a lot of smaller roads/tracks are missing, no ferry terminal location, there are very few road names, and there are not a lot of general amenities such as hotels to place in our gazetteer. Caveat emptor! You can support improve it by becoming an OpenStreetMap contributor. We publish free application updates each few months with fresh information. If you wish 1 faster, just email our developer email address and we will do it as soon as we can.

Is it all in Greek? We have created the map in Greek and "English". Bilingual info from the original map data is used where available and, in a few cases, we have filled in with our automatic transliteration technology. Relax and enjoy!
You can:
* find out where you are, if you have GPS.
* present a route between any put for motor vehicle, foot or bicycle; even without a GPS device.
* display easy turn-by-turn navigation [*].
* search for places
* display gazetteer lists of commonly required areas like hotels, eating places, shops, banks, things to see and do, golf courses, medical facilities. Present how to obtain there from your current location.
* bookmark areas like your hotel for simple return navigation.
* * Navigation will present you an indicative route and can be configured for car, bicycle or foot. The developers provide it without any guarantee that it is always correct. For example, OpenStreetMap data does not always have turn restrictions - areas where it is illegal to turn. Use with care and above all look out for and obey street signs.
We hope it does not happen to you but: Like most little developers, we cannot try a wide dozens of phones and tablets. If you have problem running the application, do email us and we will test to support and/or refund you.
